Semaphore II

We had the pleasure of working with artist Sanford Biggers and his team on the fabrication and installation of Semaphore II at Woodbine Casino in Toronto. The sculpture stands almost 20 feet tall and is designed to resemble quilts, with coloured sections made from custom handmade ceramic tiles produced by a local Toronto ceramic tile maker. Ceramic was chosen for its durability as the sculpture is permanently mounted outdoors.
